Goodness of God

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.Psalms 23

What do we live for?

Many ponder what it is we live for. What is your purpose?Without Jesus or a belief in God, life’s purpose is often viewed from secular or philosophical perspectives. Many see life’s meaning as something individuals create through their actions, relationships, pursuits, and values, such as seeking happiness, personal growth, ethical living, and contributing to society. Philosophies like existentialism suggest that life has no inherent purpose but is given meaning by each person’s own choices and commitments. Some argue that a universal moral code or absolute meaning is absent without God, but this does not negate personal significance and value found through natural, human experiences.Life’s purpose with Jesus is generally understood in Christian belief as living to know, love, and serve God by following Jesus Christ, who offers a relationship with God and eternal life. Christians see purpose in worship, loving God and others, embodying God’s moral values, and fulfilling His plan for their lives, which includes hope beyond this world.

Why the big bang is important

The universe had a beginning. Because something doesn't come from nothing. It points to a creator"In want of other proofs, the thumb would convince me of the existence of a God; as without the thumb the hand would be a defective and incomplete instrument, so without the moral will, logic, decision, faculties of which the thumb in different degrees offers the different signs, the most fertile and the most brilliant mind would only be a gift without worth."Newton is postulating that the thumb is necessary for a hand to function as it does, so therefore God must have done it.

Thank you for visiting

The Lords PrayerOur Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done;
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.
